The following GOES-7 animations show the development of two pyroCbs in
Quebec on 19 June 1991. This is discussed in Fromm et al., 2010 ''The Untold
Story of Pyrocumulonimbus''.
Visible
(channel 1) and infrared (channel 4)
GOES-7 did not have the 3.9-micron channel (channel 2 on GOES-8 to
GOES-15).
